1.Research in effect of modified drug preparation method on reduction of air bubble formation in infusion bags
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(3):53-54
Objective To investigate a new method to reduce air bubbles formation during drug preparation. Methods 200 portions of drugs from hospital pharmacy were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group with 100 portions in each group. In the experimental group, the infusion bags were put flat on the desktop, the needles pierced into the bags parallel, and immersed in the liquid inside. In the control group, the infusion bags were put perpendicular to the desktop, the needle pierced into the bags vertically, the needles do not immersed in the liquid. Air bubble formation in the infusion bags was compared between the two groups. Results Air bubble formation in the experimental group was significantly less than that of the control group. Conclusions The modified new method for drug preparation can reduce the formation of air bubbles.

Objective To investigate the preventive measurement of vagal reflex occurrence on patients with percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA).Methods On the reason of vagal reflex occurrence,to 75 patients with PTCA adopt the measurement to prevent hypovolemia, control the excessive rebound of cavity viscera, adjust the patients mental state, and so on.Then to observe the level of patients with vagal reflex occurrence, and compare with the control group of 75 patients under common care. Results The prevent group level of patients with vagal reflex occurrence is 2.61%;the control group is 28%.Conclusion To patients with PTCA adopt the measurement to prevent hypovolemia, control the excessive rebound of cavity viscera, adjust the patients mental state, and so on.The effect to decrease the level of vagal reflex occurrence is great.
3.Investigation of quality of life of patients with asthma and analysis of its related factors
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(9):3-5
Objective To explore the quality of life and its related factors of patients with asthma. Methods 60 asthma patients were assessed by Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD),Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety(HAMA)and the Short-Form-36 Health Survey(SF-36). Results Except physical functioning (PF) domain, the SF-36 score of asthma patients was significantly lower than that of normal. The illness course longer than 4 years had lower score, so did the quality of life. The SF-36 score of asthma patients with depression symptom and anxiety symptom was lower than those without depression symptom and anxiety symptom. Conclusions The asthma patients' quality of life are worse than those of normal, especially the patients with long illness course, depression symptom and anxiety symptom.

Objective To explore the best in vitro PICC measurement in children with blood cancer. Methods 70 cases of hematology-oncology patients who aged from 1 to 7 years old from June,2009 to July, 2010 in Pediatric Hematology Oncology were selected and divided randomly into the control group and the observation group with 35 cases in each group. The measurement of the control group was from the pre-puncture point along the vein to the right chest acromioclavicular joint, the measurement of the observation group was from the pre-puncture point along the vein to 1cm below the right chest acromioclavicular joint. Results The rate of PICC placed in the lower superior vena cava was 94.29% in the observation group, and 57.14% in the control group, the difference was significant. Conclusions For children patients aged from 1 to 7 years old with blood cancer, PICC catheter length measurement from the prepuncture point along the vein to 1cm below the right chest acromioclavicular joint, can improve accuracy for the PICC into the lower superior vena cava.

Objective To research in the effect of pertinent nursing method on therapeutic effect of postoperative intractable affective disorder. Methods We drew out all the patients who were in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria and accepted surgical treatment from June to September in 2008,and obtained 45 patients which were divided into the experimental group(21 participants) and the control group (24 participants) randomly. The experimental group adopted pertinent nmsing intervention in different periods, the control group accepted routine nursing measures. Two psychiatrists evaluated these patients' symptoms using the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS), Bech-Rafaelsen Mania Rating Scale (BRMS), and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD). Results The difference of total efficiency between the two groups had no statistical significance at 1 week and 1 month after operation, yet, obvious statistical significance was seen on 3 and 6 months after operation. The total points of all scales had no statistical significance at 1 week and 1 month after operation; however, obvious statistical significance appeared on 3 month and 6 month after operation. The improvement of symptoms of the experimental group was better than the control group. Conclusions The nurs-i ng interventions used in this research could improve the therapeutic effect of the postoperative intractable affective disorder, and the effects were reflected mainly in the long term effectiveness.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(27):38-39
Objective Summarize the nursing experiences of abdominoscope for patients with ovarian cysts. Methods Enough preoperative evaluation, careful perioperative nursing and observation were used in 150 patietns with ovarian cysts when cured by abdominoscope. Results All the patients had accepted succesful operation, there were no intensive complication among the patients. Conclusions Proper nursing measures should be developed with therapeutic laparoscopy, nursing cares according to the operation can effetive shorten the course of rehabilitation for patients.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(27):22-23
Objective Summarize the clinical nursing keys and experiences for tranplantation of leg island flap. Methods Follow- up 111 patients with transplantation of leg island flap. Results There were 109 patients had accepted survival of island flap, their function of wounded limb were recoveried satisfactory by one- year follow up. There were 2 amputation patients because of disturbance of blood circulation of distal wounded limb. Conclusions Careful perioperative nursing and observation are the keys of survival for tranplantation of leg island flap. Proper rehabilitaiton education can guarantee the satisfactory prognosis.
8.The efficacy of the electrolyzed oxidizing water in the oral irrigation of patients with oral trachea can-nula
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(26):12-14
Objective To study the efficacy of the electrolyzed oxidizing water (EOW) in the oral irrigation of patients with oral trachea cannula. Methods 60 patients with oral trachea cannula were ran-domly divided into the experimental group and the control group, the experimental group received oral irri-gation with EOW,while the control group used normal saline. The oral irrigation efficacy was compared be-tween the two groups. Results In the experimental group, the bacterial clearance rate was 95.21% ,while the control one's was 37.19%, the stomatodysodia rate of the experimental group was 3.33%, the control one's was 86.60%, the oral fungus infection rate of the experimental group was 0% , the control one's was 43.33%, the incidence of dental ulcer of the experimental group was 10.00%, the control one's was 3.33%. Significant difference existed in bacterial clearance rate and the stomatedysodia rate between the two groups. Conclusions Oral irrigation with EOW in oral trachea cannula patients can decrease or con-trol the field planting of bacterium in pharynx oralis and stomatodysodia, and prevent pulmonary infection.

Objective To observe the effect of home nursing based upon protocol nursing theory on liq-uid intake compliance improvement of patients undergoing hemedialysis. Methods Forty-eight HD patients of hquid intake un-compliance were randomized into the observation group and the control group with 24 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, the observation group was given home care instruc-tion based upon protocol nursing theory for 1 month. The two groups both received follow-up for 3 months and their liquid intake comphance were evaluated before and after intervention. The relationship between family sup-port and relative increase of body weight during hemodialysis was also evaluated. Results The IDGW relative magnitude was lower, the compliance of liquid intake was higher, the level of family support was higher in the observation group than those of the control group. There was negative correlation between the family support and the IDGW relative magnitude the IDGW relative magnitude, family support, comphance of liquid intake. Conclusions Home care nursing based upon nursing theory facilitate patients to get effect family support, increase the compliance of hquid intake and make IDGW within desirable range.
