1.Game Theory Analysis on Quality and Safety Control of Chinese Medicine Decoction Pieces from the Perspective of Supply Chain

Game relationship of mutual restriction and mutual connection exist among various segments of Chinese medicine decoction pieces supply chain. Any problems in any segments will affect quality and safety of the whole supply chain, and ultimately affect the safety of consumers. Based on the theory of supply chain, this article established a linear supply chain and static game model, including planting farmers, production and marketing society, processors of Chinese medicine decoction pieces, terminal consumers and middle sales section whichis made up of whole sale and retail markets and manufacturing enterprises of Chinese patent medicine. This article also proposed the suggestions about quality safety of Chinese medicine decoction pieces through quantitative methods in game theory.
2.Analysis on Patent Protection for Newly Approved Traditional Chinese Medicine in China

Relevant information of newly approved TCM medicine during 2013 to 2014 was searched. Medicine names, medicine composition and company information in Chinese Patent Search System were combined to obtain medicine relevant patent information. This article summarized the patent condition and features of the medicine, analyzed existing problems in the patent protection for the newly approved TCM and proposed suggestions for strengthening patent protection of new TCM.
3.Effects of Betulinic Acid on Proliferation of Human Liver Cancer HepG2 Cells

Objective To observe the effects of betulinic acid (BA) on proliferation of human hepatoma stem cell;To discuss its anti-cancer mechanism from the aspects of cell cycle and cell apoptosis. Methods HepG2 stem cells were cultivated in vitro and testified the self-renewal capacity. The effects of BA in concentration of 40, 20, 10, 5, 2.5, 1.25μmol/L on the cell vitality of cultured human liver cancer stem cells for 24 and 48 hours were measured with CCK-8 method. The human hepatoma stem cell line HepG2 was administrated by BA at concentrations of 40, 20, 10, 5μmol/L for 48 hours, and cell cycle and apoptosis rate were measured by flow cytometry. Results BA could inhibit HepG2 stem cell proliferation obviously with dose-effect relationship. BA influenced cell cycle, and induced tumor stem cell apoptosis. 40μmol/L BA blocked cell cycle in S phase, and cell apoptosis rate reached 10.86%. Conclusion BA has obvious inhibitory effects on proliferation of HepG2 liver cancer stem cell, which probably plays a part in anti-cancer by influencing cell cycle and inducing cell apoptosis.
4.Effects of Heat-reinforcing Needling on Synovial Tissues of Rheumatoid Arthritis Rabbits ;with Cold Syndrome

Objective To measure the endogenous metabolites in synovial tissues of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) rabbits with cold syndrome;To investigate the specificity mechanisms of heat-reinforcing needling for RA. Methods A total of forty healthy purple blue rabbits were randomly allocated to normal group, model group, reinforcing-reducing needling group (RRN), twirling-reinforcing needling group (TRN) and heat-reinforcing needling group (HRN) 8 rabbits in each group. Arthritis rabbits cold model was made with ovalbumin and freezing. Except for normal groupand model group, RRN was given acupuncture of reinforcing-reducing needling at Zusanli (ST36), TRN was given acupuncture of twirling-reinforcing needling at Zusanli (ST36), HRN was administrated acupuncture of heat-reinforcing needling at Zusanli (ST36), once a day and retaining 30 min, a total of seven days. Fresh synovial tissues of rabbits knee joints were extracted after the intervention, then GC-Q/TOF-MS technology were employed to evaluate metabolic profiles. Results The synovial tissues metabolites of TCA cycle, carbohydrate and fatty acid metabolism in model group mainly increased compared with normal group (P<0.05); The synovial tissues metabolites of various kinds above-mentioned decreased compared with model group in all intervention of acupuncture group (P<0.05), and the metabolites of TCA cycle and carbohydrate metabolism in HRN were obviously less than that of RRN and TRN (P<0.05). Conclusion The specificity of heat-reinforcing needling for RA manifests in regulation of TCA cycle and carbohydrate metabolism.
5.Review of Study on TCM Intervention in Different Signal Transduction Pathways in ;Pulmonary Fibrosis in China

The etiology of pulmonary fibrosis is complex. The occurance and development of this disease involve many cell signal transduction pathways, including MAPK signaling pathway, JAK-STAT signaling pathway, Smad signaling pathway, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, NF-κB signaling pathway and so on. Numbers of experiments have shown that intervention in signal transduction pathways with TCM can delay the progression of fibrosis, which provides good therapeutic methods for this disease. This article reviewed study on TCM intervention in different signal transduction pathways in the pulmonary fibrosis in China.
6.Study on Medication Rules of Professor ZENG Bin-fang’s Treatment for Chronic Hepatitis B ;Based on Complex Network Analysis Method

Objective To analyze the medication rules of Professor ZENG Bin-fang’s treatment for chronic hepatitis B (CHB); To provide references for clinic. Methods Research data came from patients with CHB in outpatient and hospitalization in Department of Hepatology, Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In this study,data mining methods, such as complex network analysis and dot-mode mutual information, were utilized to conduct analysis on the syndromes, symptoms, treatment and medication of included patients, as well as the mutual relations. Results The study collected clinical data of 132 patients with CHB, who accepted 277 times of examination,and 277 prescriptions were included. High-frequency symptoms included:burnout and weakness, abdominal distension, hypochondriac pain, and lower limb edema; Common syndromes included:stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency, retention of damp-heat in the interior, liver and gallbladder damp-heat, liver qi stagnation, and qi-stagnation and blood stasis, etc., successively, including 126 times of examination and accounting for 45.5%of all cases. Common therapeutic methods involved in soothing liver and strengthening spleen, eliminating dampness and heat, nourishing liver and kidney, regulating vital energy and promoting blood flow and activating blood and activating spleen, successively. Dot-mode mutual information analysissyndrome-symptom relation:the differentiation point of stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency included burnout and weakness, thirst,dull pain of right lateral thorax, anorexia, and abdominal distension;syndrome-therapy relation:stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency contained the main therapeutic method of nourishing liver and strengthening spleen;syndrome-medicine relation: Bupleuri Radix, Codonopsis Radix, Scutellariae Radix, Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Paeoniae Radix Rubra,Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata cum Melle, Pinellinae Rhizoma Praeparata, raw Rehmanniae Radix, and Cyperi Rhizome. Analysis of complex network analysis showed that the core formula for stagnation of liver qi and spleen deficiency was Xiaochaihu Decoction and Siwu Decoction. Conclusion The treatment thinking of Professor ZENG Bin-fang for CHB pays attention to entire concept, attaches importance to Zang-fu transmission, regards“nourishing liver, soothing liver and strengthening spleen”as the therapeutic principle, together with nourishing yin, softening and resolving hard mass, clearing heat-toxin and eliminating dampness.
7.Determination of Encapsulation Efficiency and Medicine Loading and Release ofβ-elemene inβ-elemene-loaded Nano Polymeric Micelles

Objective To establish a RP-HPLC method for the determination of encapsulation efficiency (EE) and medicine loading (ML) in β-elemene-loaded Nano Polymeric Micelles; To study its release characteristic in vitro. Methods DSPE-PEG2000 was used as carrier to prepare medicine-loaded micelles. EE and ML were determined by petroleum ether extraction method, and its release characteristic in vitro was studied by dialysis method. Results The average EE and ML ofβ-elemene-loaded Nano Polymeric Micelles were 89.47%and 8.33%, respectively. Its release characteristic was slow. Conclusion The method for EE and ML determination is simple and accurate, and the prepared micelles have the property of sustained release.
8.Research on Characteristics of Eucommia ulmoides Leaf from Different Producing Areas by ;IR and TLC

Objective To analyze and compare the Eucommia ulmoides leaves from different producing areas by IR;To establish a TLC method for identification of Eucommia ulmoides leaves;To provide a reference for its quality control. Methods The characteristic absorption peaks were identified and the positions and intensities of Eucommia ulmoides leaves from 6 producing areas were compared by IR and second derivative spectrum, including clustering analysis; Separation and identification of the active components in Eucommia ulmoides leaves were conducted by TLC. Results There a difference exited in the characteristic absorption peaks in peakshapes, positions and intensities. And the samples from 6 producing areas could be divided into one category. Results found 6 batches of sample spots of consistent by TLC, but between samples of different producing areas trace components spots existed differences. Conclusion The two methods are direct, simple, fast and convenient, which can provide a reliable evidence for identification and quality control of the Eucommia ulmoides leaves.
9.Research on Quality of Angelicae Sinensis Radix Based on AHP Fuzzy Comprehensive ;Evaluation Model

Objective To establish a method to evaluate quality of Angelicae Sinensis Radix based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP) fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Methods Angelicae Sinensis Radix of different producing regions was collected. Volatile oil content, alcohol soluble extract content, as well as the composition of ferulic acid, Z-ligustilide, 3-butylphthalide and n-butylidenephthalide of Angelicae Sinensis Radix samples were separately measured. AHP was used to establish AHP analysis model to comprehensively evaluate multiple indexes of Angelicae Sinensis Radix. Results The evaluation result comparison showed that the quality of Angelicae Sinensis Radix in Min county, Weiyuan county and Zhang county were better than that of other regions, and Min county had the Angelicae Sinensis Radix with the best quality. Conclusion Evaluating Angelicae Sinensis Radix based on AHP fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is feasible.
10.Percutaneous Absorption in Vitro of Jiegugao Blended and Pasted by Commonly Used ;Ointment Matrices in Tujia Minority

Objective To establish a method to simultaneously determine syringing and isofraxidin by HPLC;To investigate the features of percutaneous absorption in vitro of Jiegugao blended and pasted by white vinegar, honey and vaseline; To discuss the mechanism of commonly used ointment matrices in Tujia Minority. Methods Rat abdomen skin in vitro was as transdermal barrier;the modified Franz diffusion pool was used to simulate human skin medication; the content of syringin and isoprofen was determined by HPLC; the percutaneous absorption equation was established and the related parameters, such as cumulative permeation rate and permeation rate, were calculated. Results When using Syncronis C18 (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) as chromatographic column, acetonitrile-0.1%phosphoric acid as mobile phase, 1.0 mL/min as perfusion speed and 265 nm as determine wavelength, regression equation of syringingwas A=10 686.454 6C+1565.778 8 (r=1.000 0), regression equation of isofraxidin was A=12 297.305 4C-5913.729 9 (r=0.999 9). Cumulative permeation quantity of syringing in Jiegugao blended and pasted by white vinegar, honey, vaseline and blank were 7.549 2, 4.580 3, 3.890 8 and 5.378 4 μg?cm-2?h-1 respectively and permeation rate were 25.66%, 16.11%, 13.73% and 18.78%. Meanwhile, cumulative permeation quantity of isofraxidin were 2.536 9, 1.941 8, 1.178 2 and 2.293 6 μg?cm-2?h-1 respectively and permeation rate were 47.04%, 35.06%, 22.11%and 41.11%. Conclusion Using white vinegar as the ointment matrix can promote the percutaneous absorption of effective composition in Jiegugao blended. However, it will retard the percutaneous absorption of effective composition in Jiegugao when using honey and vaseline as the ointment matrices, but honey and vaseline can be used as a slow-release matrix.
