Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of captopril combined with simvastatin for treating patients with early diabetic nephropathy.Methods 180 patients with diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into three groups,and each group had 60 cases,group A was given captopril for treatment,group B was given simvastatin and group C was received captopril and simvastatin for treatment.The clinical efficacy,renal function before and after treatment and incidence of adverse reactions were compared in three groups.Results The clinical efficacy of group C was significantly better than group A and group B ( P ＜ 0.05 ) ; after treatment,the value of Ma/Cr,SCR and Bun of three groups were lower than pre-treatment ( t =3.12,3.08,3.17,3.41,3.19,3.20,3.04,3.44,3.48,all P ＜ 0.05 ) ;and the value of Ma/Cr,SCR and Bun after treatment in group C were significantly lower than group A and group B ( t =4.58,4.69,5.02,4.89,5.11,4.87,all P ＜0.05 ) ;the incidence of adverse reactions in group C was significantly lower than the other two groups.Conclusion Captopril combined with simvastatin could significantly improve the clinical efficacy of the early diabetic nephropathy and had small side effects.

A simple specific and sensitive radioimmunoassay for ne(?)ropeptide (NPY) in plasma and tissue extracts was developed. There was no appreciable cross-reactivity with related neuropeptides. The minimum detectable NPY in plasma and tissue extracts was 150-200pg/ml and average recovery was 85-90%. Reverse-phase HPLC reveals that chromatographic charecterization of NPY-Li in plasma and tissue extracts was very similar to that of standard NPY.

The specific binding of~(125)INPY to membranes from mouse cerebral cortex was investigated using equilibrium binding and kinetic assay.The membranes were preparated by different—speed centrifugation.The equilibrium binding of~(125)I—NPY to membranes at 37℃ to equilibrium was by 50 minute and showed sharp optimum at PH7.0—7.4.The bound,which can't inhibited by other related peptides,was inhibited by unlabled NPY spe—cifically(IC50=0.4nmoi/L).The binding sites for~(125)I—NPY were sensitive to treatment with tripsin and thiol reagents.Theequilibrium binding of~(125)I-NPY to cerebral cortex at 37℃ was characterized by a Kd value of 0.30—0.40nmol/L and the receptor densities were 0.40—0.45 pmol/mg protein.

Objective To investigate the significance of levels of IL-8,TNF-α in serum of patients with aplastic anemia(AA).Methods Serum levels of IL-8 and TNF-α in 45 patients and 30 normal controls were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.Results The serum levels of IL-8,TNF-α increased significantly in AA and acute AA(AAA)group than in the control group(P＜0.05),there was no statistical significance between chronic AA(CAA)group and the control group(P＜0.05),and the levels in AAA group were much higher than in CAA group(P＜0.05).The serum level of IL-8 was positively related to TNF-αin AA group(r=0.682,P＜0.05).Conclusion There are immunological disorders in patients with AA and the overproduction of IL-8,TNF-α might be involved in the immunopathogenesis of AA,AAA.

In the present paper, it is reported that immunelogic event during unset of experimehtaleallrgic encephalomyelitis (EAE) is studied by sevaeral immunological parameters, including thymectomy at birth in Guinea Pigs, identification of various cellular and humoral immunolo-gic functions. It is observed that thymectomy at birth suppressed onset of EAE and severityof EAE is related to cellular immunologic function but not to humoral immunity. All ofthese results indicated that cell-mediated immunity is responsible for the onset of EAE.

In this paper, it has been found that such stressors as operation or swimming in cold watermay suppress the mitogenic response of murine spleen cells to ConA or LPS, whichis closely related to the action of suppressor cells.Using the plastic-adherence method, the plastic-adherence cells in spleen(PAC)was removed or obtained. The difference of mitogenic responsivebefore and after the removal of PAC is very apparent in stressed mice, being much lower thannormal before the renioval of PAC and near to normal after removing PAC. It is interestingthat the lymphocyte transformation stimulated by LPS is suppressed predominantly after swim-ming stress instead of those by ConA in operation stress.It has also been observed that theindomethacin may block the induction of suppressor PAC by stress, which means that the pro-staglandins may play an important role in the induction and action of suppressor PAC.

irAII was translated by SHR and WKA rat spleen lymphocyte and thymocyte RNA in wheat germ free synthesizing system. The translation efficency of irAII at the most proper concentration of SHR immune cell RNA is higher than that of WKA rat immune cell RNA. the result also showed that irAII translation was increased in the rat spleen lymphocytes stimulated by concanavalin A (ConA). Furthermore, irAII, irAI and renin-like were translated by MLA-144 cell (T lymphosarcoma cell) poly (A) RNA in cell free translation system from wheat germ. The results proved that the immune cells of rats produce irAII in a constitutive or inducible fashion for the first time.
