Objective To investigate the relationship between hOGG1 and XPD gene polymorphism and genetic susceptibility of gastric cancer.Methods This study was carried out in Dongying Shengli Petroleum Administration Bureau Hospital.Under the narrow band imaging(NBI) mode,the blood samples of a total of 98 gastric cancers and 80 controls without cancers were collected.Genetic polymorphisms of DNA repair genes were identified by polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP),then its relationship with cancers was analyzed.Results Carrying 326Cys allele with the wine increased the risk of gastric cancer; Lys 751Gln genotype increased the susceptibility of the gastric cancers (OR =1.486,0.73 ～ 3.025).Conclusion Lys751 Gln genotype increases the risk of gastric cancer.

Objective To investigate the feasibility of application of plasma anticoagulant heparin and hepa-rin lithium instead of serum in clinical biochemistry.Methods The clinical data 50 healthy persons in our hospital were statistically analyzed.Results The Potassium (K),sodium (Na),calcium (Ca),low -density lipoprotein (LDL),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),cytokines(CK),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum uric acid(UA),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),magnesium(Mg),the standard value of total cholesterol(CHO),serum total bilirubin(TBil), direct bilirubin(DBil),triglyceride(TG)and other items of anticoagulant heparin plasma were (4.42 ±0.27)mmol/L, (137.00 ±1.70)mmol/L,(2.56 ±0.41)mmol/L,(115.53 ±88.93)mmol/L,(5.06 ±1.18)mmol/L,(281.56 ± 67.36)mmol/L,(84.41 ±74.02)μmol/L,(0.99 ±0.18)U /L,(4.62 ±1.26)μg/L,(17.18 ±15.66)mmol/L, (2.22 ±2.66)μmol/L,(2.28 ±7.70)mmol/L,which were significantly lower than those in serum(t =-3.415,-2.017,-4.739,-3.571,-3.155,-2.778,-4.117,-7.65,-10.799,-5.677,-3.192,-8.625,-5.401,-3.483,all P <0.05.);The K,Na,TCa,BUN,UA,ALP,DBil,TP,Mg,CK,HDL -C,LDL,LDH and other items of lithium heparin anticoagulant plasma were (4.51 ±0.30)mmol/L,(137.06 ±1.56)mmol/L,(2.60 ±0.08)mmol/L, (5.08 ±1.22)mmol/L,(281.86 ±67.78)μmol/L,(84.83 ±74.82)U /L,(2.22 ±2.56)μmol/L,(74.15 ± 10.94)mmol/L,(0.99 ±0.17)μg/L,(118.47 ±92.77)U /L,(1.68 ±0.72)mmol/L,(2.55 ±0.66)mmol/L, (129.82 ±30.34)U /L,which were significantly lower than those in serum(t =-3.517,-3.273,-4.128,-3.101,4.749,-2.271,-4.586,-6.706,-10.095,-5.837,2.234,-7.309,-7.175,-14.875,all P <0.05.);The HDL -C,LDL,BUN,Cr,TBil,DBil,Na,Cl,UA,GGT,ALP,ALT,AST,TP,ALB,TBA,Mg,CHO,LDH, CK,CK -MB,AMS,TG,Glu 24 and other items of heparin lithium heparin anticoagulant plasma and serum had good correlation(r >0.800).Conclusion Plasma anticoagulant heparin and heparin lithium instead of serum is feasible in clinical biochemistry.

BACKGROUND:There are few reports about the effect of serum-free culture on the differentiation of rat adipose-derived stem cel s into vascular endothelial cel s.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the isolation, serum-free culture of rat adipose-derived stem cel s differentiating into vascular endothelial cel s.
METHODS:The rat adipose-derived stem cel s were isolated from male Sprague-Dawley rats and expanded to the third passage by enzymatic digestion-adherent explants method. In the experimental group, rat adipose-derived stem cel s were cultured in serum-free medium for 24 hours. In the control group, rat adipose-derived stem cel s were cultured in low-glucose Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium containing 10%fetal bovine serum. After that, the cel s were cultured in inducing medium for 3 weeks to differentiate into vascular endothelial cel s.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The rat adipose-derived stem cel s grew as polygonal or fusiform-shaped adherent cel s when cultured in vitro, which could stably proliferate and passage. The rat adipose-derived stem cel s showed very low expression of CD31, a cel surface marker, after passages. After directional differentiations into vascular endothelial cel s, the cel s were pebble-shaped under the inverted microscope. Expression of CD31 was up-regulated, which was much higher in the experimental group than the control group. The induced cel s in the experimental group had stronger abilities than those in the control group to swal ow Dil-labeled acetylated low-density lipoprotein and form tube-like structures on the matrigel after differentiation into vascular endothelial cel s. So, rat adipose-derived stem cel s could be highly successful y induced to differentiate into vascular endothelial cel s in vitro after serum-free culture.

Aggressive T cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas are a group of highly malignant tumors characterized by rapid progress and short survival.This is especially true for patients who have a poor response to treatment because of their drug resistance.Hence,to clarify the mechanism of this resistance will have important guiding significance in reversing drug resistance and improving poor prognosis of aggressive T cell nonHodgkin's lymphomas.

Objective To probe into the methods of postoperative nursing care for the patient undergoing domino liver transplantation.Methods The key of postoperative care included:monitoring of vital signs,the condition of cruor and the state of drainage rigorously; keeping the balance of intake and output; taking the immunosuppressive drugs correctly; proper diet; prevention of complication;giving psychological nursing.Results The patients passed the perioperative period successfully and were all cured.Conclusions To aim at the characteristic of this operation,implement holistic nursing care,is an important link to assure the patients of domino liver transplantation to recover smoothly after the operation.

Objective To study the nursing methods of gastrointestinal cancer patients undergoing continuous hyperthermic peritoneal peffusion chemotherapy (CHPPC) in the peri-operative period.Methods A total of 126 patients with gastrointestinal cancer underwent continuous hyperthermic peritoneal perfusion chemotherapy,and nursing care was implemented continuously,comprehensively and individually.Results All of the patients underwent continuous hyperthermic peritoneal perfusion chemotherapy successfully,without any complication occurred.Conclusions Intensive and effective nursing care is helpful to carry out continuous hyperthermic peritoneal perfusion chemotherapy safely,and avoid the complications.

Objective To analyze the CT features of large adrenal adenoma and to compare the pathological features of large adenoma and small adenoma in order to improve the diagnosis of large adenoma.Methods The unenhanced and enhanced CT images of 14 patients with large adrenal adenoma,proven surgically and pathologically and pathological features of small adrenal adenomas in 30 cases were retrospectively reviewed.The pathological features were evaluated in the cell composition,the incidence of cystic degeneration and hemorrhage of large adenoma and small adenoma.Results 14 large adenomas were unilateral and single,3 had distinct margin and 11 had indistinct margin,14 showed regular contour of round or ellipse,the size of tumors were 5 cm?5.5 cm～18 cm?20 cm.14 large adenomas presened heterogenous density in unenhanced CT study with CT value of-36～51 HU,and 3 showed calcification and 6 showed cystic degeneration.Most of the 14 adenomas presented heterogenenous enhancement after contrast administration.Pathologic examination indicated that the clear cells were predominant in the cell composition of small adenoma,while in the case of large adenoma,the proportion of compact cell predominance was equivalent to that of the clear cell and compact cell concomitance.3 small adenomas and 6 large adenomas had cystic degeneration,5 small adenomas and 4 large adenomas had hemorrhage respectively.Statistical analysis suggested that large adenoma had higher incidence of degeneration than that in small adenoma,while no difference was found in the cell composition and incidence of hemorrhage between large adenoma and small adenoma.Conclusion The large adrenal adenomas have higher incidence of degeneration than that in small adenoma,while no difference is found in cell composition and incidence of hemorrhage between large adenoma and small adenoma.

Objective To discuss the importance of early di agnosis and treatment of primary hy-perparathyroidism in multiple bone resorptions.Methods From April 1997to April 2001,5patie nts were regarded as having multiple bone resorptions.There were 4females and 1male.The age ranged from 25to 46years(average 37years).The mean interval between symptom o nset and final diagnosis was 19.5mon ths(from8to 36months).All patients were suffering from se vere bone pain in need of strong antalgic,and the symptoms including fatigue,depression,loss of appetite and malaise,e tc.Abnormality on bone scan indicated multiple areas of skeletal involvem ent,bone radiographs showed multip le bone resorptions in skull,rib,pelvis and limbs.The range of serum calcium level was 2.27-3.22mmol /L and that o f PTH was 168-214ng /ml.Palpable neck mass was found i n three patients.Results All patients had undergone resectio n of the abnormal parathyroid.Three were parathyroid adenomas and two defined a s hyperplastic glands.All of them had pain relief after operation.The average follow-up was 15months(3-27months);the bone lesions have been repaired partially or totally s hown in X -ray examination during follow-up.Conclusion Clinically,in younger patients with multiple bone resorptions,hyperparathyroidism should be highly suspected,so that timely parathyroid surgery can be ca rried out for the treatment.[

Objective To evaluate method of CT simulation (CT sim) in the treatment planning setup of esophageal carcinoma. Methods From Dec.1999 to Jun.2002, 49 patients with pathologically proved esophageal carcinoma were analyzed. All patients underwent CT sim and treatment planning was configured with three symmetrical fields in the isocenter mode. A few comparisons have been made between CT sim and conventional simulation (Con sim) in the treatment planning setup. Results The difference in isocenter position were observed between CT sim and Con sim with 3～18 mm.When the esophageal lumen was taken as portal center, the 90% isodose curve in 42.8%(21/49) of patients were able to cover the whole lesion. When taking the tumor as the portal center, the whole lesion of all patients was totally covered by the 90% isodose curve. Conclusion The CT sim has an advantage in the delineation of lateral extension of esophageal tumor than the Con sim .Selection of irradiation portal should be done according to the size the silhouette of the tumor.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of mizolastine inhibiting allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) in murine model. Methods The murine model of allergic contact dermatitis by topical DNFB was used. Using this model murine inhibition of ear swelling was observed after oral administration of mizolastine in different doses. The levels of IFN-?, TNF-? and IL-4 in the sera of these mice were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results Murine ear swellings were markedly suppressed in each dose group of mizolastine (P 0.05). Different doses of mizolastine inhibited the expression of these three cytokines to different degrees. Conclusion The therapeutic effect of mizolastine on murine ACD may be played by inhibiting the expression of some cytokines.
