1.Effect of Baoyuan Jiedu Decoction on Interfering Serum Lipids and White Adipose Tissue Browning of Cancer Cachexia Mice

[Objective]To investigate the effect of Baoyuan Jiedu Decoction(BJD)on serum lipids and white adipose tissue browning in cancer cachexia mice.[Methods]The specific pathogen free C57BL/6 mice were divided into normal group,model group,BJD group and megestrol acetate(MA)group.After 21 days of intervention,the changes of body weight,food intake,water consumption and tumor volume of the mice were observed,multidimensional mass spectrometry-based shotgun lipidomics(MDMS-SL)was used to determine the content of serum lipid of mice,white adipose tissue morphology and lipid droplet area were detected by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining,the expressions of white adipose tissue browning related genes were detected by Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(Real-time PCR);and the protein expression of uncoupling protein 1(UCP1)was detected by Western blot and immunohistochemistry(IHC)staining.[Results]Compared with model group,the mice in BJD group were generally in good condition,and their food intake,water consumption and weight were increased significantly(P<0.05),and the volumes of tumors were significantly suppressed(P<0.05).Compared with normal group,there were 61 kinds of abnormal lipids in the serum of model group,while 30 kinds of lipids were influenced by BJD treatment(P<0.05).Compared with model group,BJD alleviated the mass loss and lipid droplets(P<0.05),inhibited the mRNA expression of UCP1,Cidea,Prdm16(P<0.05)and the protein expression of UCP1(P<0.05)in epididymal white adipose tissue(eWAT)and inguinal white adipose tissue(iWAT)of cancer cachexia mice.[Conclusion]BJD can inhibit weight loss,relieve the disorder of serum lipid,and inhibit the white adipose tissue browning of iWAT and eWAT of cancer cachexia mice.
2.Mechanism Study of"Atractylodes Macrocephala Koidz-Atractylodes Rhizoma"Drug Pair on the Prevention and Treatment of Hyperlipidemia Based on Network Pharmacology and Transcriptome Analysis

[Objective]To clarify the therapeutic effects of the"Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz-Atractylodes Rhizoma"drug pair on hyperlipidemia(HLP)and to illuminate the primary mechanism via network pharmacology analysis.[Methods]HLP rat model was established by feeding rats with high-fat diet,and different doses of"Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz-Atractylodes Rhizoma"drug pair were administrated at the same time.At the end of the experiment,comparing the blood lipid levels of each group of rats and observing the lipid deposition in liver tissue.Using network pharmacology to predict the potential active ingredients and targets of"Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz-Atractylodes Rhizoma"drug pair for treating HLP,and further experimental verification.[Results]The drug pair of"Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz-Atractylodes Rhizoma"had a good effect on anti HLP induced by high-fat diet.Network pharmacology analysis showed that 3[3-acetoatractylodes atractylodes,wogonin,and 3 β-acetoxyatractylodes atractylodes were the potential active ingredients of the drugs in the treatment of HLP,and peroxisome proliferators-activated receptors(PPAR)signaling pathway-related PPARγ and fatty acid binding protein 4(FABP4)were the potential regulatory pathways and targets.The results of the validation experiment further confirmed that the drug pair could significantly up-regulate the expression of PPARy in liver tissue of rats with HLP.[Conclusion]The effect of"Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz-Atractylodes Rhizoma"drug pair on high-fat diet-induced HLP is related to the activation of PPARγ signaling pathway.
3.Protective Effect of Ganoderma Lucidum Extract on Liver Function of Cirrhotic Mice through Nrf2/ARE Pathway

[Objective]To investigate the protective effect and mechanism of Ganoderma lucidum extract(GLE)on liver cirrhosis in mice.[Methods]Ten male C57BL/6 mice were randomly selected as control group,the remaining forty mice were intraperitoneally injected with carbon tetrachloride olive oil suspension to induce liver cirrhosis model.They were randomly divided into model group and GLE low(50 mg/kg·d),medium(100 mg/kg·d)and high(200 mg/kg·d)dose groups,while the control group and model group received 0.9%sodium chloride solution gastric irrigation,and the control group mice were given the same volume of olive oil solution twice a week.Liver index was calculated.The activities of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST)and the levels of total cholesterol(TC),total bilirubin(TB)and creatinine(Cr)in serum of mice were detected by automatic biochemical analyzer.Hematoxylin eosin(HE)staining was used to observe the histopathological changes of liver,and Masson staining was used to observe the degree of liver fibrosis.Terminal-deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL)staining was used to observe the apoptosis of hepatocytes.The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),IL-6,malondialdehyde(MDA)and activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)in serum were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The relative expression of nuclear factor E2 related factor 2(Nrf2)and nuclear Nrf2,heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)and NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1(NQO1),α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),Collagen Ⅰ and E-cadherin protein in liver tissue were detected by Western blot.[Results]Compared with control group,the liver had significant damage,the liver index,serum ALT,AST activities,TC,TB and Cr levels,liver fibrosis degree,hepatocyte apoptosis index,the levels of serum TNF-α,IL-1 β,IL-6 and MDA,the relative expression of α-SMA and Collagen I protein increased(P<0.05),while the activity levels of serum SOD and GSH-Px,and the relative expression of total Nrf2 and nuclear Nrf2,HO-1,NQO1 and E-cadherin protein in liver tissue decreased in model group(P<0.05).Compared with model group,liver injury gradually reduced,the liver index,serum ALT,AST activities,TC,TB and Cr levels,liver fibrosis degree,hepatocyte apoptosis index,the levels of serum TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,MDA and the relative expression of α-SMA,Collagen I protein decreased(P<0.05),while the activity levels of serum SOD and GSH-Px,and the relative expression of Nrf2 and nuclear Nrf2,HO-1,NQO1 and E-cadherin protein in liver tissue increased in GLE low,medium and high dose groups(P<0.05).[Conclusion]GLE can alleviate the histopathological damage and improve liver function in cirrhotic mice.This may be related to the decreased level of oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction after activation of Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway,which may interfere with liver fibrosis.
4.Explore the Diagnosis and Treatment of Gastric Cancer Accompanied by Depression Based on"Depression Caused by Illness"and"Illness Caused by Depression"

[Objective]To discuss the occurrence and gastric cancer accompanied by depression from the perspective of"depression caused by illness"and"illness caused by depression",and provide theoretical support for the treatment by traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).[Methods]By consulting the ancient and modern literature of TCM,and collecting the academic views of some doctors on the theory of"depression caused by illness"and"illness caused by depression"of gastric cancer,combined with clinical practice experience,it discusses the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer accompanied by depression.[Results]The etiology and pathogenesis of gastric cancer accompanied by depression can be summarized as follows:loss of middle Qi,the rise and fall of surly for its root;cementation of stasis and toxin,seven emotions disorder is its root;tumor gathering locally,poison overflowing into the blood vessels,illness and depression intermingled as its symptom,and it accordingly points out that the treatment of gastric cancer accompanied by depression should mediate middle Qi and smooth the Qi transformation of spleen and stomach;regulate Qi and open depression,regulate the rise and fall of Qi of the body;remove blood stasis and detoxify,dredge the body's Qi,blood and body fluid;form and spirit in tune,restore the complex of the five viscera of the human body.[Conclusion]Stasis,toxin and depression are important pathological factors affecting the occurrence,development and outcome of gastric cancer accompanied by depression.These three factors often affect each other as causation.Discussion of gastric cancer accompanied by depression from the perspective of"depression caused by illness"and"illness caused by depression"is not only helpful to improve the etiological and pathogenesis theory of gastric cancer accompanied by depression,but also helpful to provide theoretical reference for its clinical treatment.
5.The Application of Classic Formulas in the Treatment of Malignant Tumors

[Objective]To summarize the experience in treating malignant tumors based on the syndrome differentiation of the six meridians and the usage characteristics of classic formulas in the Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases.[Methods]Based on the analysis of the disease classification method of"six channels differentiation of syndromes"in Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Miscellaneous Diseases and the process of malignant tumor onset,advance and prognosis is dynamized and the possibility of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of malignant tumors by"preventing the disease before it changes"is explored.At the same time,the common clinical strategies for the treatment of malignant tumor adverse reactions are listed,the modern application of classic formulas in the treatment of malignant tumor according to the clinical characteristics of the disease and literature research is summarized.[Results]As a positioning method in the process of disease development,the differentiation of six meridians can indicate the depth of the disease and the state of the struggle between positive and evil Qi during the development of malignant tumors,providing theoretical reference for the formation mechanism,site of onset,and prognosis of malignant tumors.Classic formulas have the characteristics of clinical universality,standardization of addition and subtraction methods,and comprehensive participation in anti-tumor treatment,reflecting the potential advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in treating malignant tumors.Classical formulas have practical value in treating cancer fever,cancer pain,radiation inflammation,nerve damage,digestive tract reaction and so on.[Conclusion]The application of classic formulas can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with malignant tumors,with the characteristics of full process,overall,and flexibility.The role of classic formulas in the treatment of malignant tumors is worth further exploration.
6.Experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine Master ZHOU Zhongying in Treating Systemic Sclerosis from the Pathogenesis of Phlegm-Stasis-Heat Junction

[Objective]To study and summarize the experience of traditional Chinese medicine Master ZHOU Zhongying in treating systemic sclerosis from the pathogenesis of phlegm-stasis-heat junction,providing references for clinical practice.[Methods]Through the clinical learning,collation and analysis of Professor ZHOU's medical cases in the treatment of systemic sclerosis,the paper elaborated his clinical thinking and experience in the treatment of systemic sclerosis,which included etiology,pathogenesis,therapy and characteristic clinical medication,and verified it with medical records.[Results]Professor ZHOU thinks the key pathogenesis is phlegm-stasis-heat junction,pathological factors of systemic sclerosis mainly include phlegm,blood stasis and heat,which can depend on each other mutually throughout the course of disease.According to the progression of the disease and the evolution of pathological factors,treatment is primarily focused on phlegm-stasis-heat junction.Phlegm and blood stasis are interrelated,obstructing the circulation of Qi-blood so as to lead to pain and swelling,the treatment should be resolving phlegm,removing blood stasis and activating meridians;phlegm and heat are lingered each other,exacerbating the progression of the condition,it is appropriate to clear away phlegm and heat so that symptoms of skin redness and swelling can be relieved;blood and heat are interweaved together,which invade the skin and joints seriously,it is advisable to expel pathogenic factors by clearing away heat and resolving blood stagnation;Yin is damaged and Qi is consumed terribly,subsequently deficiency-heat is gradually emerging,the way to solve it is to supplement Qi,nourish Yin and strengthen the body resistance to eliminate pathogenic factors.The case was diagnosed as accumulation of phlegm stasis heat,blockage of wind-dampness and deficiency of Qi and Yin by Professor ZHOU,and treated with dissipating phlegm and removing blood stasis,clearing heat and unblocking collaterals,supplementing Qi and nourishing Yin,and the recipe Baiwei Decoction combined with Qinjiao Biejia Powder modified was used.[Conclusion]ZHOU Zhongying,the traditional Chinese medicine Master,who advocates attaching importance to the pathogenesis firstly in the process of syndrome differentiation,treating systemic sclerosis from the pathogenesis of phlegm-stasis-heat junction,which plays a unique role in relief of clinical symptoms,and his experiences are worthy of inheritance and promotion.
7.Professor LIU Yanxia's Experience in Treating Gynecological Diseases with Chinese Medicine Application Therapy

[Objective]To summarize Professor LIU Yanxia's academic experience in clinical application of Chinese medicine application therapy in the treatment of various gynecological diseases.[Methods]To review and analyze Professor LIU's clinical experience in the treatment of gynecological refractory diseases by using Chinese medicine patch for lower abdomen and vulva application,and systematically summarize Professor LIU's clinical experience from the aspects of etiology,pathogenesis,treatment principles,methods and empirical prescriptions.A medical case of female vulvar lichen sclerosus was attached for further evidence and explanation.[Results]Professor LIU bases on the circulation characteristics of the lower abdominal meridians,and in accordance with the characteristics of etiology and pathogenesis,forms an empirical formula for applying Chinese medicine patch to the lower abdomen,represented by"warming the kidney and warming the uterus""removing stasis and relieving pain""strengthening the spleen and removing dampness""strengthening the body and preventing infection",which has been respectively used to treat infertility,gynecological pain,obesity and sub health conditions.At the same time,Professor LIU divides vulvar lichen sclerosus lesions into proliferative and atrophic types based on the different characteristics,and uses different empirical formulas for vulvar plaster therapy.The case of atrophic vulvar lichen sclerosus was characterized by liver and kidney deficiency syndrome.The overall treatment principle was to tonify the kidney,nourish blood,and eliminate blood stasis and relieve itching,and modified Erxian Decoction and Danggui Buxue Decoction was used,combined with Chinese medicine application therapy for removing stasis and relieving itching at the local area of the vulvar lesion,which resulted in a significant therapeutic effect.[Conclusion]Professor LIU Yanxia has developed an empirical prescription for applying Chinese medicine patch to different diseases based on the different etiology,pathogenesis and characteristics of the disease.The medication features are distinctive,and treatment effect is satisfactory,which can provide reference for clinical practice.
8.ZHANG Deying's Cases of Treating Acne from Phlegm

[Objective]To summarize the characteristics and experience of Professor ZHANG Deying in treating acne from the perspective of phlegm syndrome.[Methods]By following the clinical study of Professor ZHANG's clinic,the medical records of acne treatment were sorted out,three typical cases were selected,and combined with the classical theories of traditional Chinese medicine,the unique insights and clinical experience of Professor ZHANG on phlegm syndrome theory were analyzed and summarized.[Results]According to the physical condition of people and the characteristics of acne,Professor ZHANG points out that the etiology and pathogenesis of acne are phlegm heat or phlegm fire invading the head,chest and causing local flesh rot.According to the spleen and stomach of middle-Jiao,the phlegm is a pathogenic factor of soil.In the treatment,the purpose of reducing phlegm can be achieved by reducing soil,multiplying wood to reduce soil and producing metal to eliminate soil,and then using heat-clearing drugs to clear the evil of upper-Jiao phlegm heat and cure acne.At the same time,it should be noted the relationship among the five elements,the phlegm is too excessive,easy to block the kidney water and cause kidney deficiency,the first treatment is reducing phlegm,after the removal of phlegm,tonifying the kidney can be effective,even some patients do not need to be tonified the kidney,and the kidney will slowly recover.[Conclusion]Professor ZHANG has unique understanding of the theory of phlegm syndrome,pointing out that the pathogenesis of acne is mostly phlegm fire or phlegm heat stagnation in the muscle surface,and the flesh rot.The main treatment should be to clear phlegm heat.Phlegm is the pathogenic factor of soil.Besides the method of reducing soil,according to the theory of five elements,there are also methods of multiplying wood to reduce soil and producing metal to eliminate soil.
9.On the Inheritance and Development of ZHANG Jingyue's Thought on Treating Depression to Yangming's Theory of Mind

[Objective]To explore the influence of WANG Yangming's theory of mind in the Ming Dynasty on ZHANG Jingyue's thought of treating depression.[Methods]With the help of historical literature research methods of distinguishing academic chapters and examining the origin and development of mirror studies,this study aims to sort out ZHANG Jingyue's grand perspective based on the ontology,physical application,and cultivation of Yangming's theory of mind,establishes a new theory of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of depression,and elucidates the inheritance and development of ZHANG Jingyue's thought of treating depression on Yangming's theory of mind.[Results]The core issues of Yangming's theory of mind were the relationship between human mind and emotions,as well as the relationship between emotion and mood.ZHANG Jingyue established a theory of depression diagnosis and treatment that combined emotion and mood,illness due to depression,discussed depression from deficiency,and treated depression through knowledge and action,reflecting his medical thinking's inheritance and development of Yangming's theory of mind.[Conclusion]Based on the analysis of the origin and development of Yangming's theory of mind,it can be concluded that ZHANG Jingyue's thought of treating depression inherits and exerts the profound meaning of Yangming's theory of mind,develops and constructs a highly innovative theory for the diagnosis and treatment of depression in traditional Chinese medicine,and analyzes his thought of treating depression under the approach of Yangming's theory of mind,which is beneficial for the diagnosis and treatment of depression in traditional Chinese medicine.
10.The Inheritance and Academic Characteristics of SHI's Acupuncture School in Northern Zhejiang

[Objective]To explore the inheritance status and academic characteristics of SHI's acupuncture and moxibustion school in northern Zhejiang,and to further enrich the connotation of Xiushui medical school.[Methods]Using the method of reviewing and researching the traditional medical history literature and modern literature,the origin,inheritance and academic characteristics of SHI's acupuncture and moxibustion were excavated,analyzed and sorted out.[Results]The culture of traditional Chinese medicine in northern Zhejiang is profound,there are many genres of acupuncture and moxibustion,and many famous doctors and scholars.The more influential schools of acupuncture and moxibustion are LING,SHI,YAN,SHENG and JIN,which have been passed down from generation to generation and innovated repeatedly.As one of the typical representatives,SHI's acupuncture has a long history,active inheritance and rich content.In clinical practice,great importance is attached to the spleen and stomach,and the treatment principle is to strengthen the spleen and benefit the stomach,warm and transport Yang Qi of middle-Jiao,and be good at applying warm acupuncture,so that Qi can be warmed and operated easier,and the acupuncture can be helped to regulate Qi.SHI's acupuncture also pays attention to the combination of acupuncture and moxibustion,and the combination of acupuncture and medicine to improve clinical efficacy.SHI's descendants are constantly innovating while inheriting and keeping the right,so as to enrich the disease spectrum,enrich the treatment methods and improve the clinical efficacy.[Conclusion]In the process of continuous inheritance and innovation,SHI's acupuncture has gradually formed a diagnosis and treatment system with acupuncture characteristics in northern Zhejiang,which can provide learning and reference for clinical practice.
