Study on white mices with age of 6-8 weeks, 18-20g body weight. They were divided into 3 groups: group 1 (control group): 30 mices; group 2: mices were immunesuppressed by 200mg cyclophosphamid per one kilogram of body weight, being checked after 5 days of injection; and 300mg cyclophosphamid per one kilogram (200mg on the first day and 100mg on the fifth day) and it was checked after 10 days of injection (group 3). The results: immunesuppressed model implemented by intraperitonial injection of 200mg per one kilogram of body weight checked after 5 days of injeciton. These parameters were used to assign the immune function

Tacrolimus (FK506) is a 23-membered macrolide with immunosuppressant activity that is widely used clinically for treating the rejection after organ transplantation. The research on tacrolimus production was mainly focused on biosynthesis methods, within which there are still some bottlenecks. This review summarizes the progress made in tacrolimus biosynthesis via modification of metabolic pathways and control of fermentation process, with the hope to address the technical bottlenecks for tacrolimus biosynthesis and improve tacrolimus production by fermentation engineering and metabolic engineering.

Although most cases of posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) are reversible, irreversible lesions as a form of hemorrhage or infarction have been described. PRES as a complication of systemic lupus erythematosus (PRES-SLE) is associated with hypertension or use of immunosuppressive agents. We present a case of recurrent atypical PRES-SLE, which showed restricted diffusion in the first manifestation of SLE, resulted in parenchymal hemorrhagic transformations in the recurrent episode.

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections commonly develop between the second and sixth month after renal transplantation. The incidence of CMV infection in renal transplant recipients, which depends on their serological status regarding CMV antibody and the use of immunosuppressants, is reported to be 38~67%. However, CMV infection after renal transplantation has been rarely reported in Korea. Recently, we experienced 4 cases of symptomatic CMV infection after renal transplantation, which were diagnosed by CMV antigenemia assay. With the development of more sensitive diagnostic methods, CMV infection may become recognized more commonly among renal transplant recipients.

Multiple dermatofibromas are rare and some case reports show this disease has been related to generalized defective immune function: autoimmune disease and altered immunity, such as AIDS and systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE), can be treated with immunosuppressive agents. But there are no specific reports of this disease developing in healthy people. We describe a case of multiple dermatofibromas in a 38-year-old healthy man who showed no abnormality of the immune function.
