2.Integration of Cold-warm Syndrome and Exterior and Interior in Treating Epidemic Hemorrhagic Fever Based on Syndrome Differentiation
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Though the clinical observation of 413 cases of epidemic hemorrhagic fever(EHF) by clinical epidemiological method,we have concluded that the main TCM etiological factors of EHF are damp, toxic heat, blood stasis and deficiency, and the determinant pathogenesis of EHF is the integration of interior and exterior pathogenic factors;the syndrome characteristic of EHF is that the cold, heat, deficiency and excess were intermingled, and the moist heat blood stasis syndrome should be given priority to;its major pathological location is initial YANG and triple warmer;so the therapeutic principle should be the integration of cold-warm syndrome and exterior and interior and paying attention to smoothing the triple warmer all the time.
3.Discussion on the etiological factors and pathogenesis of chloasma
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
This article presents the discussion on the etiological factors and pathogenesis of chloasma. On the basis of clinical experience and related literature from every dynasty, the author concludes that the causes and pathogenesis of chloasma can be summarized into 8 aspects: 1.Menoxenia,lesion of uterus and cunnus, tumors in pelvic cavity in women;excessive heat and deficiency of kidney essence in men.2.Damages in Chong-Ren meridians,e.g.infection of pathogen which goes directly into Chong-Ren;exhaustion of essence blood;coldness, phlegm or blood clot congests within the Chong-ren meridians.3.Stasis of liver-qi induced by insufficiency of blood storage and dysfunction in conveyance and dispersion.4.Shortage of essence blood.5.Lack of kidney-yang.6.Disharmony between spleen and stomach, including deficiency of spleen-stomach qi,spleen-stomach yang, and stomach yin,and surplus of stomach heat.7.Flooding of turbidness and heat, like moisture and heat in liver-gallbladder and in spleen-stomach.8.Invaded by exogenous pathogen of wind and sunlight.Knowing these points has great significance on directing therapy according to syndrome differentiation.
4.Brief introduction to academic thoughts and clinical experience of LIANG Shi-shao
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
This article introduces the academic thoughts and clinical experience of LIANG Shi-shao,a late famous TCM practitioner in Guangxi.Professor LIANG had practiced medicine more than 60 years, having rigid attitude toward teaching and great scholastic achievement, being good at treating diseases caused by exogenous pathogenic factor and internal damage, specializing in senile diseases. He thought highly of vital qi in clinical treatment, applying invigoration method in flexible way to preserve gastric qi.Because dwelled in south of china, professor LIANG was also skilled in treating warm disease, having original experience and comprehension of applying "clearing, hua, purgative" to remove dampness. In clinical practice,he was also good at improving drugs and prescription in order to curing difficult and complicated diseases, formatting a unique style of principle of diagnosis and treatment and experience.

6.The application of the f ive phases-ancient ten months'calendar in the theory of Inner Canon of Huangdi
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
The corresponding season of the ve zang-viscera is the important content of the correspondence between man and universe theory in the Inner Canon of Huangdi, and the corresponding season of the ve zang-viscera related to several modes of calendar. With the exception of the way that combine the ve zang-viscera with calendar which make use of criss and cross or divide into ve parts on 12 months of a year, the authors believe that the newly discovered ancient ten months' calendar had been showed clearly in the Inner Canon of Huangdi. The text of the Inner Canon of Huangdi that cannot be explained well in accordance with twelve months' calendar can be explained by ancient ten months' calendar, and the ancient ten months' calendar is the basis that the ve phases theory is derived from the concept of the ve seasons.

China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Objective:To observe the clinical curative e ect of treating diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(D-IBS) with Lichang Tang(Intestine-Regulating Decoction) and sertraline hydrochloride.Methods:72 patients with(D-IBS) was randomly divided into 2 groups:32 cases in the treatment group was given self-prescribed Lichang Tang(modi ed Tongxie Yaofang [Main recipe for painful diarrhea]+Jinlingzi San [Toosendan Powder]) and sertraline hydrochloride(50 mg,p.o.once in the early morning);35 cases in the control group were given Lichang Tang alone for oral administration.During administering these drugs, other drugs were discontinued in the 2 groups.Psychological counseling and dietary modi cation were used in all patients. The course of treatment lasted for 4 weeks. Results:The total e ective rates in the treatment group and the control group were 86.49% and 65.71% respectively, and there was signi cant di erence(P

China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Objective:To establish a method for determination of total flavonoids,eriodictyol-7-methylether and isosakuranetin in Artemisia halodendron seeds.Method:The content of total flavonoids was determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry at 506 nm,and compared with eriodictyol-7-methylether as a reference substance;the content of eriodictyol-7-methylether and isosakuranetin was determined by RP-HPLC,the analytical column was YMC-Pack ODS-A column(5?m,4.6 mm?250 mm),the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.2% phosphoric acid aqueous(35:65) at a ow rate of 1.0 ml?min-1,and the detection wavelength was 288 nm.Results:The linear range of total avonoids was 0.1228--0.7368mg(r=0.9991) and the average recovery(n=6) was 100.5%(RSD=1.41%);the linear ranges of eriodictyol-7-methylether and isosakuranetin were 3.016--30.16?g/ml(r=0.9999)and 3.304--33.04?g/ml(r=0.9999),respectively;the average recoveries(n=6) were 98.9%(RSD=1.20%)and 96.8%(RSD=1.38%),respectively.Conclusion:The methods of UV and HPLC are simple, accurate with good reproducibility and suitable for determination of total avonoids,eriodictyol-7-methylether and isosakuranetin.
