Based on the viewpoint of "sweat pore-qi and liquid-kidney collaterals", it is believed that children's nephrotic syndrome is caused by the core mechanism of sweat pore constraint and closure, qi and liquid imbalance, and kidney collaterals impairment, and it is proposed that the treatment principle is to nourish the sweat pore, regulate qi and fluid, and supplement the kidney and unblock the collaterals. In clinic, guided by sequential therapy and according to the different disease mechanism characteristics of the four stages, including early stage of the disease, hormone induction stage, hormone reduction stage, hormone maintenance stage, the staged dynamic identification and treatment was applied. For early stage of the disease with edema due to yang deficiency, modified Zhenwu Decoction (真武汤) was applied to warm yang and drain water; for hormone induction stage with yin deficiency resulting in effulgent fire, modified Zhibai Dihuang Pill (知柏地黄丸) plus Erzhi Pill (二至丸) was used to enrich yin and reduce fire; for hormone reduction stage with qi and yin deficiency, modified Shenqi Dihuang Decoction (参芪地黄汤) was used to boost qi and nourish yin; for hormone maintenance stage, modified Shenqi Pill (肾气丸) was used to supplement yin and yang. Meanwhile, the treatment also attaches importance to the combination of vine-based or worm medicinals to dredge collaterals, so as to providing ideas for clinical treatment.

With the advent of the genomic era, genomics has gradually become a part of nursing. The use of genomic data can explore the mechanisms of disease occurrence and progression, accurately identify intervention targets and regulatory pathways of diseases, provide precise and personalized nursing services for patients, and improve their quality of life. This paper reviews the current application status of genomics in nursing, deeply analyzes the development process of genomics in genetic risk assessment, symptom precision nursing, precision nursing decision-making, and nursing education, and proposes corresponding development strategies. Through a comprehensive and in-depth exploration of the combination of genomics and nursing, the aim is to provide strong theoretical guidance for the future development of genomics nursing in China.

Frailty, an increasingly prominent clinical syndrome in the elderly population, is characterized by declining physiological reserves, weaker homeostatic maintenance, and increased sensitivity to environmental stress. Incidence of frailty increases with age and is a risk factor for a wide range of adverse health outcomes. This paper reviews the evolution of the definition of frailty, theoretical models, and commonly used methods of frailty assessment in elderly patients with coronary heart disease, further analyzes the current status of frailty in elderly patients after PCI and its association with poor prognosis, and identifies the next key research directions, aiming to provide valuable references and insights for the research and practice of nursing staff and scientific researchers.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of the radiomic model based on panoramic radiographs in differentiating single or multiple root canals in mandibular first premolars. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 68 patients with CBCT and panoramic radiographs from the affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanjing Medical University between July 2022 and November 2023.One hundred and thirty one mandibular first premolars(105 single-root and 26 multiple-root canals)were included in this study.Using stratified random sampling, the mandibular first premolars were divided into a training cohort(104 teeth)and a test cohort(27 teeth)at a ratio of 8∶2.CBCT was used to confirm the root canal configuration, and radiomic features were extracted from panoramic radio-graphs.After feature screening, radiomic models were constructed using extratrees,LightGBM,logistic regression(LR),multi-layer perceptron(MLP),random forest, support vector machine(SVM),and XGBoost. The optimal radiomic model was selected based on receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve, accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value(PPV),negative predictive value(NPV),and decision curve analysis(DCA).Results A total of 107 radiomicfeatures were extracted from panoramic radiographs. After feature filtering,4 radiomic features were ultimately selected using the Lasso model. The XGBoost model showed higher predictive efficiency and stability, with an AUC of 0.962 in the training cohort and 0.770 in the test cohort.DCA curves also in-dicated that the XGBoost model was optimal. Conclusion The radiomic model based on panoramic radiographs demonstrates good per-formance in differentiating single or multiple root canals in mandibular first premolars.

Objective:To integrate the symptom management experiences of patients with acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF), so as to provide a basis for developing symptom management measures. Methods:Qualitative or mixed studies on the symptom management experience of ADHF patients included from establishment of the database to September 2024, were electronically retrieved in PubMed, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Embase, EBSCO, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, WanFang Data, VIP, China Biomedical Database and other Chinese and English databases and gray literature databases. The quality of the literature was evaluated using the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme developed by the Center for Evidence-Based Medicine at the University of Oxford. The results were synthesized through the aggregative integration method. Results:A total of 14 papers were included. Thirty-four findings were distilled into eight categories and three integrative findings, namely, the multiple challenges posed by symptoms (complex and multiple symptomatic somatic experiences, symptom-induced mood changes, and reduced family and social engagement), the unmet needs of patients (insufficient healthcare resources, insufficient supply of discharge services provided by healthcare organizations, and lack of knowledge), and the co-existence of positive and negative coping styles (negative coping styles in symptomatic distress, positive debugging and diversified coping in symptomatic distress) .Conclusions:ADHF symptoms severely affect patients' physical, psychological, and social function. Healthcare professionals should focus on the unmet needs of patients with ADHF and explore patient-engaged models of active symptom management.
