First Meeting of the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors

The goal of APAME is to improve the quality and visibility of journals published in the Asia Pacific region so that these could meet the minimum standards for indexing in WPRIM and possibly in other international indexing services. In line with this goal, medical journal editors from the region held a meeting to: a) to review and finalize the terms of reference of the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors (APAME); b) to discuss the role of editors and how APAME will contribute to the improvement of the quality and visibility of journals in the Region; and c) to conduct an informal consultation on WPRIM.
