Abstract:
Objective To compare the effects of continuous subcutaneous insulin injection(CSII) and multiple subcutaneous insulin injection(MSII) on hyperglycemia in 60 elderly patients(30 in each group). Methods For the baseline parameters including HbA1c, fasting blood glucose(BG), average BG at the second hour of three postprandial (APBG) and bedtime BGs, only fasting BG level in CSII group was markedly higher than that in MSII group.
