Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of childlike concept-oriented nursing strategies on compliance and negative emotions in children with painless gastroscopy. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 104 children who underwent painless gastroscopy in Shanxi Children's Hospital (Women Health Center of Shanxi) from January to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. The children were divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method, with 52 cases in each group. The control group was given routine gastroscopy nursing, while the observation group was given childlike concept-oriented nursing on the basis of the control group. The compliance of children of the two groups was evaluated before induction of anesthesia for gastroscopy. The time of gastroscopy, the occurrence of adverse reactions during the examination, and the occurrence of complications during recovery were recorded in the two groups. The Modified Yale Perioperative Anxiety Scale (mYPAS) and Faces, Legs, Activity, Cry and Consolability (FLACC) were used to compare the anxiety and pain levels of the children on 1 day before the examination, during the induction of anesthesia and 1 day after the examination. Post-Hospitalization Behavior Questionnaire (PHBQ) was used to assess the behavioral changes of the children. Results:The compliance of children in the observation group before induction of anesthesia was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . There were no statistically significant differences in the time of gastroscopy, the incidence of adverse reactions and the incidence of complications during recovery between the two groups ( P>0.05) . At the time of anesthesia induction and 1 day after the examination, the mYPAS and FLACC scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and differences were statistically significant ( P<0.01) . The incidence of behavioral changes in the observation group was lower than that in the control group 1 day after the examination, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Childlike concept-oriented nursing is beneficial to improve the compliance of children undergoing painless gastroscopy and it can reduce the anxiety level of children and inhibit the behavior change after examination, which has a good application prospect.
